This system is a 2-user, galvanized steel vertical safety system (vertical lifeline) that meets the new ANSI Z359.16 standard, along with OSHA 1910.140 and 1926.502, when used with the Lad-Saf X3 Detachable Cable Sleeve (6160054) and Lad-Saf X2 Detachable Cable Sleeve (6160030). It includes the top and bottom brackets, 60’ of swaged 3/8 inch 1×7 galvanized steel cable, and 2 guides.
This complete system includes all brackets, pre-swaged cable, and cable guides, all in a single SKU. The system has been reengineered to simplify and speed up the installation process, weighing less and with fewer loose parts than our previous models. Additionally, the top bracket provides 100% tie-off capability through its integrated fall arrest-rated anchor point rated to 3,600 lbs. This version is ideal for billboards and ladders, with mounting brackets that can be used on a variety of fixed ladder styles that may consist of different rung spacings and shapes. Our 3M™ Protecta® Rebel™ Web Self-Retracting Lifelines are housed in durable, super-tough composite and provide an economical fall protection solution without compromising on performance or safety.
An SRL’s lifeline will extend as the user moves away, and retract automatically enabling the user to move about within a recommended working area at normal speeds. Should a fall occur, a speed sensing brake system will activate stopping the fall and reducing the forces imposed on the user to safe levels.
The Rebel Web can be connected from shoulder level and has a 140 kg (310lbs) weight capacity. The top swivel anchorage connector limits lifeline twisting and improves user experience. The super tough nylon housing is lightweight, compact, durable and UV resistant. The built in impact indicator allows for visual inspection and the heat shrunk clear PVC coating on the shock pack provides an easy to read label.
