For full disclosure, I received a total of six (6) products from this manufacturer for evaluation. I will be detailing not only the individual product listed but my experience with their line of products.Just like I’ve said in my reviews: not everyone can drop several hundreds of dollars for a top of the line optic nor do most people need to do so. There is nothing wrong with a good quality budget optic. I didn’t have a pistol slide with the “doctor” footprint initially. I obtained a slide with a Vortex Venom cut but found that the optic would not fit the slide. While the screw holes do line up, it appears to have a different curved cut at the front of the cutout that interferes with mounting. We were finally loaned an aftermarket Glock 17 slide with a standard “doctor” cut and mounted the optic. The optic was boresighted with final adjustments made at the range.The optic performed well: the dot was bright and easy to pick up. During our range visit, we were hit with a torrential desert thunderstorm. The firearm and optic were both soaked however they continued to function (although the glass did require cleaning). No damage or loss of performance occurred to the optic.Two of the products I received were mounted to rifles. Three others to pistol slides without the use of any adapters. The last one was never mounted as I currently lack a slide with the qualifying footprint. With the exception of the unmounted one, each has had a minimum of 200 rounds put through with the mounted optic. One pistol mounted optic has been carried daily for three months now. All have performed exceptionally and without issue. One product did have a slightly misshapen dot appearing almost as a comma instead of a dot however other then that it functions property.
